He did not read the report directly but he was in the room in Brussels when the NATO people were discussing the report. This is where he first heard the codename Able Archer.

  • How did Martin know what the NATO report said?

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought this. Just the way we didn't see a body slump to the grass after the gunshot made me think they were setting this up

It will be 3 years in the future and will be called Deutschland 86. It's set to premiere on Sundance TV in 2018.

For this reason you have your wish! You'll see the reunification. Personally, I am not sure how interested in that I'll be. Growing up in the Cold War, I pretty much know how that went. What we didn't know was what life was like behind the Iron Curtain. I like seeing how they dealt with tyranny and totalitarianism. How many fully believed in it? How many wanted freedom? It's very interesting.
As for it slowing down, I'm not sure I agree. Admittedly, it's been so long since I've seen it I've forgotten a lot of what happened. I remember
    a bomb and a terrorist
    of some kind.
If I remember correctly, it was the direction it went rather than slowing down. I wanted to see him
continue his work, but it seems like that was not where it was going
    toward the end.

  • Disappointing ending but would love to see a sequel

I didn't enjoy it. After two episodes I gave up. The music though, was incredibly good.

They might start in 86 for 2 episodes and then do half an episode of flashbacks and then go back to 86 for a couple of episodes
    All ready for Xmas?

I was coming here to reply to the thread title - but when I read the text of the first post asking for Freisian language shows I can't help specifically with that (never herd of that language).
However I thought I would share what I know about seeking out non English language TV series - All 4 (a free online service and phone app) by the UK TV channel 4 (C4) has a section called 'Walter Presents' that showcases the best foreign language shows it can source from around the globe all with English subtitles. I am not sure if this service is only available in the UK due to rights issues etc., but am sure if so there are work arounds (VPN's etc.). I found this show DEUCHLAND '83 in that WP section and have now started on a French language mafia series set in Corsica.
Here's a link to the WP area hope it helps any who are interested in foreign language shows with English subtitles: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/walter-presents
