I have the petition for deleted/extended/alternate scenes released on change.org. As of so much cut out it appears 2 of Simon Phoenix's henchmen disappeared in front of the fire place and then John Spartan bursting in with gun drawn goes aiming while Lenina Huxley aims her stun baton holding it like a real weapon following John Spartan's lead at the part they discover a dead Raymond Cocteau. They got attacked by a couple of henchmen. Simon Phoenix or anymore henchmen could've attacked them bursting in but Simon Phoenix left off to the cryo-prison with Associate Bob to free everyone else. We see Lenina Huxley knock out one thug and shoot the other one dead. I had the idea that the same 3 men who shoot Cocteau to death and then dump his body in the fire are eliminated when the cryo-prison was blown up. As of no other gun shots heard during the final battle there could be sound proof parts of the cryo-prison building like on lower levels and maybe the rebels lure those henchmen to being eliminated when the cryo-prison was blown up. We could clearly assume during the road chase that the rebels kill a couple of Simon Phoenix's accomplices.

From a video from way back in 1993 during promotion for Demolition Man. A couple of things to note about this video. First Sylvester Stallone and Jesse Ventura talk about a fight scene they share in the movie. Ventura unfortunately deliberately keeps it secret, saying well have to wait and see for ourselves how good it will be. Well the scene was obviously cut. In the scene John Spartan heads to the cryo prison to take out Phoenixs men when theyre all in one place. Stallone and Ventura throw down, with Stallone taking down Ventura with a running tackle.
The second thing about this video, its a WCW (World Championship Wrestling) set visit. Eric Bischoff had just been given control of the company and his first order of business was to cater to males aged 18-49, as the competition, the WWF, was basically a childrens show. Jesse Ventura at the time worked for WCW as a commentator and took some time out to film Demolition Man. Bischoff interviewed Stallone and Ventura as part of his shifting dynamic/tone for WCW, i.e. an R-rated actioner would certainly fall into that category.
Jesse Ventura would end up being fired from WCW within a year of this video. Big bucks were paid to bring in Hulk Hogan, and one of his demands was that Ventura had to go. And so they sent him home. -

There's the exploring. Maybe both a prequel and sequel were written years ago. Part 2 I heard on here was to be a prequel. So maybe part 3 a sequel. There could've been the prequel 2 decades ago. Someone put in a review on some character novels and a story about the forming of San Angeles like in books or comics. I was thinking more comic book side stories to extend roles of the minor characters to where Denis Leary's character and his armed followers are the main characters. Maybe on the way to the cryo-prison most of the rebels encounter those who turned their backs on them and a cryocon that Sandra Bullock's character knocked out gets back up and is killed by the Benjamin Bratt character. Also there could be side stories with Denis Leary's character and his armed followers battling the Wesley Snipes played villain's criminal gang and they kill 2 cryocon henchmen. There could be at the building of the cryo-prison during the final Sylvester Stallone vs. Wesley Snipes battle Troy Evans character with who ever is the assistant police chief or otherwise captain teaming with a couple of written out scraps fighting even the Jesse Ventura character just as the Sylvester Stallone vs. Jesse Ventura fight is cut out. Maybe then 2 written out scraps throw the 2 cryocons into the explosion. They show Sandra Bullock's character killing a cryocon. Many of us assume all 6 of the cryocons dead at the very end.
I have read scripts to the film. Originally Denis Leary's character has with him 6 of his followers aiming the guns at Sylvester Stallone's character, Sandra Bullock's character and Benjamin Bratt's character but it's 4 of them. Also there's underground people in Simon Phoenix's new criminal gang as those 2 written out freedom fighters battle them. Many are assuming 2 of the 6 cryocons already unfrozen not seen again (including the Jesse Ventura character) are eliminated when the cryo-prison was blown up.
I can't find anywhere a prequel or sequel script.
