i think kmah-1 was just trying to point out that just because you have the same last name does not necessarily mean you're married/related in any way.
it's just like when my ignorant guidance counselor asked me if i was related to anyone in school because there are so many kims. -

Speaking of Michael Keaton and Diane Keaton, did you know that is not their real last names? Michael's last name is really Douglas but he changed it to avoid confusion with the well-known actor of the same name. Diane's last name is actually Hall but since it is a fairly common name, chances are there are other Diane Halls registered with the Screen Actor's Guild so she started using her mother's last name.

Daniel confirms it (Not that it needs confirmed) himself in the third issue of the Lost Magazine, where Yoon-Jin states that they (Daniel and Yoon-Jin) have a great friendship, and she often goes round to his house for dinner with his wife and kids.

Korea is like Volendam in The Netherlands.
They only have a few names there, definately less than 100. A few of these are used very heavily. Most recognized:- Schilder.
- Smit.
- Veerman.
- Visser.
Because it gets complicated to keep one from another, they all have nicknames. An example; If your name is Jan Smit and you are an avid drunk, your name could be Jan Zuiper, which means as much as John Drunk.
Another funny tale is that there's a gal there that was rumoured to have slept with several guys at some party. She's now called the matras over there.
Hehehe and some people say Volendammers don't have a sense of humour.
