My ex used to watch the show and somehow ended up meeting Jay Emmanuel. I never liked Tyra and got a bad vibe from her from the start. I wonder if this documentary is all BS and just a promo for a new season of ANTM.

With the **** talk by J, Jay and Nigel, not to mention former contestants, I doubt it. Think Tyra thought it would exonerate her. Nope.

I've seen a few episodes from a number of the series, but I didn't stay on top of all of them.
She gave me the same vibes as RuPaul. They would be all friendly with the girls behind the scenes and acting cordial, and once they sat behind the judges' table, they put on their "mean face" and their entire persona changed. It was like they were wearing masks and had dual personalities. Quite the contrast.

Yes. He's a sassy queen. When he's backstage with the girls, he's all friendly and laughing, and then when he's in drag and sitting on the panel doing his judging, he turns into a diva. I guess that's sort of stating the obvious though, eh?

Well, it is reality tv. Is he nasty and bitchy to them behind the scenes? Does he make them do anything dangerous? Again I’m not that familiar with him.

I'm not really sure. Some of the other drag queens have mentioned (after they left the shows) that he's a bit over the top and that behaviours took place that viewers of the show were never privy to.
You're right, though. In the end, it's all part of what goes on in the reality TV world.
