"I've always thought that in the twilight zone episode called "The after hours", she looked just like the original barbie doll."
They have a mannequin based on Anne as the "clincher" at the end of the episode -

Anne Francis was not the inspiration for the Barbie doll. Yes I do believe they were trying to make her look like a barbie doll ( in particular at the end ) but the barbie doll has its origins back several years from that TZ episode. The Barbie dolls creator Ruth Handler based the doll on the german doll Bild Lilli which she had seen in 1956 and she named it after her daughter. The Barbie doll debuted at the American International Toy Fair in New York, March 1959. The tz episode aired June 1960. But yes she does look like a Barbie doll in that episode.
Regardless of all that, RIP Ms. Francis. Loved you in Twilight Zone and the Golden Girls and lots of other things.
