Lisa was a very good actress, and a very hot one too, particularly in Beverly Hills Cop I. Her role in Officer and a Gentleman was7ec great, and the scene where she gets over the wall was a classic. She was also good as Eddie's leading lady (well, kinda, sort of) in the first Beverly Hills Cop movie, which I thought was Eddie's best movie ever.
So why hasn't she been in a movie in over 10 years? -

She was very beautiful and talented. She did have a long career, but never really hit it big. Shame, I think she deserved better. She is a lot more talented than a lot of other more famous actresses. But hey, that's Hollywood.

if i recall correctly, after beverly hills cop made good at the box office, she had an interview where she kinda bragged about what a great actor she was, and how BHC was only the beginning of making it big. there was a little something about how any sequel/spin-off would revolve around her (rather than scene-stealer bronson pinchot). she was very young & full of herself, not that you could blame her, since she had worked consistently and was gorgeous in the film.
i'm not saying that's what happened, but i do remember this interview, and remember later as well, when perfect strangers came out, wondering whatever happened to her, since it seemed that BHC was the pinnacle of her career. she had had a good career before BHC, really - a working actor - so it's a shame. -

I heard something similar but like the poster sort of said, this could be completely false. I like to think it is and that like a later poster mentioned that maybe she left Hollywood to live a normal life. That aside, she was definitely very attractive. IMO, she would have made a MUCH better Nancy Drew than Pamela Sue Martin, who was miscast for that role. -

Oh come on people quit all the speculations. No one knows why. You know it could be simply, she just quit to start a family as a lot of ex-popular 80's celebs have done and in reality that looks more to be the case. As heck she could of got gigs as she was at her prime.
So it really looks like she decided to retire for her own reasons. As least she stopped on a high note as she could've ended up like other so many former stars/actors who just linger on and on in cheap low budget films etc. That's why to me she looks like she just wanted out of the biz, to be normal like the rest of us. Not everyone dreams of being a big star and many tire of it. For whatever reason I respect whatever she did.
Nichole was here.
