I hate to break it to you but he's not Turkish at all. The rumor got started because "Chokachi" sounds very similiar to two common Turkish phrases. "Cok Acik", which means very/too open and "Cok Aci", which means very/too spicy. Neither one is the same as Chokachi. David himself dispelled the Turkish rumor a couple of years ago also. Sorry.

The bio page here at IMDB.com for David Chokachi says:
Birth Name: David Al-Chokhachy
Father: Turkish
Mother: Of Scandinavian decent
[I'm not saying that info Has to be correct, just that, that is what it says.]

my family dont look typically turkish, i rarely know anyone in my family who has dark skin and brown eyes. we all have green and blues eyes.

my family too. what is typically turkish? not every turk is dark. my whole family have blue/green eyes and the half of them have blond hair and we are 100 % turkish!
