He was a jerky gym teacher, but he had moments where you could see the man he was behind the teacher front. In case you haven't seen it yet, there's a great twist to the story line, and if the show had gone onto other seasons I think it would have been really fun to watch it unravel further. It's my favorite TV series by far (unless I tie it with Square Pegs, another one season high school misfit show).

Yeah i agree, before freaks and geeks i had only seen him in back to the future and that role sorta biased me towards him as a bad guy but seeing him do other stuff you slowly realise he has other ranges in acting.

Oh man, as soon as I saw him as the coach, I was like BIFF!!!! I could see Biff growing up to be a gym teacher. They're evil like that. LOL

ooh, loved the show. It was great. Too bad it was cancelled prematurely.

He was perfect as the gym teacher. Poor Bill was mortified when the guy started going out with his mom.
