Same role; different movie (TV show)

Talk about being typecast! The plot is about a deranged person obsessed with an actor because of the soap opera character he plays on TV. She confuses the character with the actor. Kathy Wilhoite has seen this plot twice in parts she's taken in the TV show Quantum Leap and the movie Nurse Betty. Why would she do this?

I know that. Kathy Wilhoite was in Nurse Betty and that particular Quantum Leap episdoe whose plots are parallel. She may have had different roles.
