I can't be alone in thinking that Zarabeth the psychic is one of her best roles! I'm watching "Witchboard" on Chiller Channel, the nth time I've watched this Eighties cult classic. To me, she's the best part of the film, and she shows an amazing range in such a brief time on the screen, from hippy dippy medium to a terrified young woman who is killed in a horrific fashion. She simply steals the movie! In our family, that's a popular line: "Just a little psychic humor!" followed by an imitation of Zarabeth's cackle. She wears the coolest outfit, and I'd love to have visited her house, as there are so many fascinating items throughout. My attention is split between the action going on and checking out the background.
Way back when, "Witchboard" made us a fan of this talented, pretty, very distinctive lady, and we've watched her in everything from "Fire in the Sky" to "Gilmore Girls". She's always noticeable and memorable.
    "TTFN!"

It was great watching her show up on that series, and the part seemed to fit her like the proverbial glove. She can play other things than the off-the-wall hippie/psychic chick, but she's SOOOO good in those roles! I've seen her do very serious roles, but I like the ones that have a sense of fun.
Actually, in "Witchboard", she covers a wide range, from loopy to contemplative in the car to terrified when confronted with the evil force. I always think that's one of the powerful death scenes because she IS such a vivid, lively character. You don't want her to have such a horrid death.
That's still one of my favorite movie quotations of all time!

Yes, she did steal the movie in Witchboard. I cared more about her than Tawny Kitaen, and was upset when her character Zarabeth got killed off so quickly.
I also never would have placed her as the dumpy girlfriend in Private School, a movie I've seen plenty of times. Goes to show you what diet, exercise and a good hairstylist can do for a woman.
If I ever go down, I hope I don't get the Potato Judge.

Agreed. When she is being chased in her own home, she looked so scared. Professional psychics today use that very scene on documentaries like A Haunting, The Haunted, etc.
            I don't think, therefore I am not.

yes Kathleen carried the Witchboard movie with humor, she was good in ''ROADHOUSE '' also, and is a real good singer !! she sings over the closing credits for the Charles Bronson movie ''MURPHYS LAW''( which she also had a funny part in the movie as ''ARABELLA MAGEE ''
