The majority of films I've seen her in she seems to play the same kind of role (nice, good hearted, motherly). Just curious on whether she has played an evil/bad character before?

Her character on 'Blackwater Lightship', though more complicated, was also not very nice.

God, was she ever! She was SO complexly evil in T10K that she was hands-down the show stealer.

10th Kingdom is so my favorite of her performances.
She was fantastic!
