haha Sizemore was great as Michael Cheritto in that movie and the scenes with him in the bank robbery were first-rate. He needs more roles like Cheritto, ones where his character won't be put on the back burner by overwhelming performances of Pacino,DeNiro, Val Kilmer, etc. -

I agreeHeat typically is not my kind of movie (action/cops robbers etc) but it was one amazing movie. I would love to see Sizemore in another role like that; not that many lines but boy can he pull off intense

LOL, honestly, when I first saw the topic "Sizemore in Heat" I thought this was going to be a thread about his sex addition.

Soaccording to his "abnormal medical condition," he set up video cameras in his house to tape his sex romps? And it was supposedly caused by his abuse of alcohol and drugshmmmthat's interesting

It was probably going to be his legacy and secure him as very much sought character actor for the latter part of his career. He seemed ready for a comeback with an Arc on Hawaii 5-0 and signing on costar with Ethan Hawke in Fox pilot called Exit Strategy which didn't get picked up.
Robbery Homicide wasn't a Perfect show but it had the stylings of Miachael Mann. A strong leading man performance from Sizemore in the role of Veteran officer Lt. Sam Cole. It holds up well and is probably better then any procedural CBS has produced in the last 13 years.
