That Certain Feeling (1956) and Cancel My Reservation (1972)

"Cancel My Reservation" is a dud, but "That Certain Feeling" (1956)is terrifica lavishly produced, warm-hearted and hilarious comedy set in NYC and also starring Pearl Bailey, George Sanders and young Jerry Mathers (from "Leave it to Beaver"). In gorgeous Technicolor and Vista Vision. For reasons I don't understand, the movie seems to have vanished, but I was lucky enough to tape a beautiful copy of it when Cinemax showed it about 20 years ago. Ms. Saint is great fun in a comedic role, and teams up with Hope for a rousing song & dance of the title song.
