Update on the Ginger Festival: The Pharoah 4 Cinema has agreed to have a Ginger Rogers Film festival on July 16 in conjunction with the Ginger Rogers Festival in Independence, MO
. They will show four movies on that day, and would like to know what movies p5b4eople would like to see on the big screen! Please let me know what you suggest! Their first choice is Top Hat, which I think is a good idea. What do you think?

It's good to hear that other places in the Independence community are joining in on the Ginger Rogers Festival.
While I won't be able to attend, I think it would be a great idea if there is a well rounded selections of Miss Rogers' films, for members of the community to see
They need to know, Miss Rogers' didn't just dance in musicals with Fred Astaire.
1.) Top Hat (1935) is a great choice.
If you don't mind my offering a few selections How about these?
      2.) Storm Warning (1951)
      3.) Monkey Business (1952)
A couple of alternates on my list would be
      4.) Bachelor Mother (1939)
      5.) Vivacious Lady (1938)
Whatever is shown, I hope to hear that the theater is packed with fans, and that everyone had a good time
      Have Fun,
      Michael

        Hi Marge,
Along with the fabulous Top Hat and the films Michael recommended, I always had a soft spot for 'The Major and the Minor.'
You have your work cut out for you picking the three additional films but it's all great!
