For anyone who doesn't own the DVD and gets the Independent Film Channel (IFC) it's scheduled for Jan. 20. IMO this is one of Natasha's best film performances. The attention to detail in her performance is remarkable.

I agree, this is definitely one of her best performances! And the movie is wonderful. I'm sad that more people don't know about it. I gave it to my best friend (a Natasha fan) for Christmas, and she said she hadn't even heard of it.
Since it also stars the very well-known and respected Ralph Fiennes, and has the honor of being the last Merchant-Ivory film, I can't understand how it got lost in the crowd. Hopefully it will gain more popular recognition in time.

I say this as an American: America isn't the world. I've no idea what the b.o. figures were in the U.K. and Asia, for example, but I know the movie and its stars were nominated for many awards and went on several international press junkets.

I saw it in the theater and I loved it. I rate it 9/10.
