Oh, no- I'm all about Randy. I think he's handsome, and even if he weren't he's a helluva lot funnier than his bro- and that goes a long way for me!
If there was more love in the world, there'd probably be a lot less dyin'.

Randy. Of course like most ppl I would of said Dennis but then after seeing this tv movie that was from the 80's with him playing LBJ, I thought he was very good in that. I always seen him playing these funny, wacky characters (I've seen him in National Lampoon movies, Slugger's Wife, ID4, The Last Detail, ect..I love the show The Brotherhood of Poland New Hampshire that show was good and had potential too bad it was cancelled the cast was pretty good too..)I thought he was just another actor I don't know after seeing that movie I have a new found respect for him, maybe it was part of the character that made me like him but I don't know there's something about him that I like, I never liked funny guys but strange. This is a guy who's not afraid to wear a mummuu in public at first I saw that pic of him with it, my reaction was .. but he seems like a funny guy too aside from being an actor and that makes him more attractive to me.

                Female here.
I know this is an old thread, but I just thought I'd offer up my two cents, as someone who doesn't think Randy Quaid is unattractive seeing as how this subject of one brother vs. the other seems to come up on a fairly regular basis.
As the old saying goes, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", meaning that what I find attractive may not be the same as what you find attractive, and vice-versa. Attractiveness is highly subjective among people. Personally I've never thought Randy Quaid was all that hard to look at. There was a time when I was very young (about 13 or so, which was in the 80's) and I thought Dennis Quaid was drop-dead gorgeous. But at the time I wasn't aware that Randy Quaid even existed. Dennis made some pretty big headliner movies then and is typically in a leading role, wb68hereas Randy often plays some kind of an odd side character.
As I got older I began to notice Randy in movies and he always stood out to me, for one reason or another. Randy Quaid is a spectacular comedian. Even if he's not the one being focused on, he can completely steal the scene in a film without even saying a word. Many women agree that a keen sense of humor makes a man attractive. Randy Quaid typically looks like an ordinary fellow you'd pass by on the street, which is what most of us non-movie-stars look like. Dennis has/had (more subjectiveness, again) that classic, handsome GQ movie-star look to him that a general consensus among society is going to say is attractive. So, asking which one is more attractive really isn't all that fair. Women that are going to find Randy Quaid attractive will do so for very different reasons than women who find Dennis Quaid attractive. As the cliche goes, it'd be like comparing apples to oranges.
Do we all look like movie stars? Of course not. But we can definitely find each other attractive, regardless. Here's a few examples that stand out to me:
Here's a picture of Randy Quaid in
                The Long Riders
, which is a pretty cool western film from 1980. He would've been 29 when this movie was made.
                http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e247/texasmccoy/forums/The Long Riders - Randy Quaid 7.jpg
Here's another picture of him and Jonathan Winters in
                Davis Rules
. This is from 1991 and he would've been 40 or 41 when this picture was taken.

I think it's safe to say that a majority of people out there have become familiar with him through his "Cousin Eddie" character from the
                Vacation
                movies. This picture is from
                Christmas Vacation
(1989). Randy would've been 38-39 when this movie was made.
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e247/texasmccoy/forums/christmas vacation - chevy chase amp randy quaid.jpg
Even though he was dopey and crude, "Eddie" was also undyingly loyal and had a heart (pardon the pun) the size of Texas. This combined with the quirky, oddball humor typical of Randy Quaid is what makes him attractive to a gal such as myself.
Obviously, these pictures are all from a long time ago and today he looks quite a bit different. But underneath the Santa-Claus/Jerry-Garcia-like beard and long hair, he's probably still the same roly-poly Randy Quaid (albei5b4t older). Just to keep things in perspective, have you seen what Dennis Quaid looks like lately? He's got that Robert Redford look going on; weathered like an old leather shoe, like he spent a lot of time in the sun without any sunscreen on, and now it shows. Dennis and Randy Quaid are now 61 and 65, respectively. Time catches up with everyone. But we all get older, grayer, heavier, and wrinkled with the passage of time. That's an unavoidable part of being a human being and being alive.
Here's a wonderful picture of the two brothers together, from a time long ago when they were both younger and cute in their own ways:
                http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e247/texasmccoy/forums/dennis amp randy quaid.jpg
That picture is a tad bittersweet to look at, considering how things are with them nowadays. Those of us that love them can only hope and pray there will come a time when they can be that close again.
Anyway, that's just what I think.
Have a great day in imdb-land, everyone.
