Both men were born in 1929.
Both men starred alongside Julie Andrews in a movie (max in Hawaii, Chris in Sound of Music, as if you did'nt know.)
chris and max starred alongside one another in the 1984 cult sci-fi classic DREAMSCAPE. Chris was the bad guy, Max the good guy.
mmm. that's all I got for now.
Or they could just get married? lol.(just joking in case anyone thinks it's serious.)

I just watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and thought it was Max Von Sydow.
Looks and sounds just like him.

Factoid: Max von Sydow was actually the first choice to play Henrik Vanger, the character Plummer played in Dragon Tattoo. He was "in talks," but turned it down presumably in favor of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
