        Any other black group? I didn't know the Doobie Brothers were black. I do know they suck though.

          David Bowie, Elton John, and many other white artists appeared on Soul Train too.
          Potato is wrong, James Brown and the JB's were the most frequent band to perform on Soul Train in the 70's.
