    Our family loved Jerry's voice so much in "Beauty in The Beast",
    what a wonderful singer/actor he was! "Be Our Guest" was a masterpiece.

      so did ilumiere was my fav. character in BATB. and as for live roles, lenny briscoe & his "dirty dancing" part (baby's dad) rocked!!!!!

        I never made the connection between his role as Lumiere and in 42nd Street until nowLumiere is my favorite BATB character. When an aunt brought over a dvd collection of the different Tony Awards acts, 42nd Street's 'Lullaby of Broadway' was on it and he was the one singing. I told my aunt that I didn't know he cou111cld sing, yet I'd seen BATB plenty of times.
