Okay, so she gets fired for using "homophobic slurs" which you despise her for, yet you think it's okay to use what is essentially an anti-woman slur against her with the "see you next Thursday" phrase. That makes you no better than you think she is.

Tough! Women\Mothers are the biggest veiled homophobes around and they don't even know it or care to acknowledge it. They teach their boys to be homophobic and they grow up to be douchy males, not to mention they are responsible for a large contingency of the criminal population if they are solo parents to males.
Don't eat the whole ones! Those are for the guests. -

Sounds like you and your own mother have some bonding to do. Just because you are mad at some women in your life or whatever does not give you an excuse to be a woman-hater.

Yeah whatever! Many females don't like to hear anything other than what wonderful, nurturing and loving creatures they are. I suppose in the presence of males, whom women are needy for, in order for society to be built up and function smoothly, I suppose they have to find something that makes them feel "superior" over the power of the almighty positive male, when in reality, they are just being phony and insincere.
It is women that DO NOT want their sons to be homosexual, because that means they wouldn't be paying them the attention that they are so desperate for, and the need to be desired. It is not seen on equal footing with "heterosexuality" and heteros take things for granted. If they understood that a males sexuality is so much more dominant, powerful and aggressive than a females, then they would understand that homosexual desire and attraction is a normal thing and needs to be accepted and conditioned as such.
If mother's are the main care giver and nurturer of the child, as they like to think they are, then do the right thing by your male children. That way, males won't grow up to be homophobic either. Now stop your sexism and man-hating, although that is another free pass females give themselves. It is only existent when a female cites sexism and misogyny. Women can be the most vile and catty creatures around regarding their own gender. Not to mention the biggest slut shamers around.

I'm very easy-going. Hence, I think people who are so stirred up about what she said are the ones that need to lighten-up, especially since none of us are perfectly innocent ourselvesas pointed out by the slurs you yourself casually used. That was my point.
Besides that, there are at least two sides to every story. So, for anyone to get on the Susan Olsen condemnation-bandwagon is very irresponsible and shows most people to be caustic, reactionary, and hard-hearted. Lighten-up indeed!
