Argument for Viggo possibly taking the oscar.

With all the turmoil surrounding the best actor category I think it's possible that Viggo can swoop in at the last second and win it. Casey's past is haunting him now and Denzel has won two Oscars. Can we possibly get a huge upset in this category? The guy has been an excellent actor forever and he seems to be well liked in Hollywood. I got a strange feeling he might pull it off. Any thoughts? BTW the betting odds for him winning are insane. Lets go Viggo!!!!!!!!!!

I think his chances are minute.
What's wrong with Casey's past?
. Aren't awards supposed to be given for a performance and not someone's "past" or race or religion or political affiliation?

In the finals Oscars voting, members in good standing - and there are thousands - can vote in all categories. This is a lot more than in SAG.
There could be an "upset" putting Viggo in. You never can tell. And we'll just have to wait and see.
