She was great. Somehow she managed to be creepy and evil yet funny. I'll never forget her scene with Madchen Amick in the sawmill. "I can't understand what you're saying. You've got something in your mouth."

Always underrated actress and great on TWIN PEAKS. Should have won Oscar for THE HUSTLER and deserved nomination for CARRIE.

One of the best actors on the show. Have always loved Ms. Laurie. She should have won Best Actress for The Hustler and she deserved her1354 nomination for Carrie.

Yes, she deserved an Oscar if not for The Hustler, then for Carrie. She is a brilliant actress.
