I saw him in Waiting for Godot last week and he was absolutely fantastic. Anyways, a girl who graduated from my school about 10 years ago is now the general manager of 2 off-broadway companies in NYC and is very good friends with Bill Irwin, who was Nathan's co-star in the show. So she was able to get us backstage after the show to meet Bill and hang out with him in his dressing room. So i thought there was no way that I wouldn't meet Nathan. So we went into Bill's dressing room after the show and talked to him for a little while, and then he took us onto the stage of studio 54 which was AWESOME. So as we were walking towards the stage, we passed right by Nathan's dressing room, where I guess he was hanging out with some friends, and I could hear him talking and laughing and it absolutely tortured me to have to hear him and not be able to meet him. And then after we went onto the stage for a bit, we left through the stage door, and then I found out that Nathan had just left. And I seriously was about to cry. I wanted to meet him sooooo bad. I just finished playing Max in The Producers at my high school and Nathan is my complete acting idol and role model, and I was so looking forward to getting to meet him at least in passing. I mean, even the audience members who didn't get to go backstage and were just waiting outside the stage door got to meet him. Oh well, hopefully this won't even matter in a few years because, who knows, maybe someday I'll get to be in a show with him. I dunno, I am one of his biggest fans and have such a crush on him.
How do you expect me to grow if you won't let me blow??
Did you enjoy Godot?
