Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Neil Jordan

Is there any possibilty He's could reprise this project? Don't misunderstand me, I wish him the best, I hope THE BRAVE ONE and KILLING ON CARNIVAL ROW will have a lot of success, but the story of the ambituous, reptilian family that wanted to dominate Italy during the renaissance it's a such cool story, it deserves to become a great movie and Jordan could be a perfect director for this.
What a pity his previous attempts to make this picture failed, also because if it's true several pictures has been dedicated to Borgia family, no one of them gave great impression (including the bbc miniseries in the seventies and the recent spanish picture).
So Neil, don't give up and, most of all, producers, allow him to achieve his project!!!

Apparently the Borgia film is back on with Lindsay Lohan and Colin Farrell playing the two illegitimate Borgia kids

        no scarlett johansson, then?
        faintly, i fear,
        the sound of dying
        puppies, i hear
        o i shed one tear
        but just one only
        weeping thins the beer
Cos El. El. is nowhere near
        being Scarlett
        Johansson's acting peer
        Not the same team here,
not the same league, or sport
        either, my dear.
        Women will jeer
        men will howl
        boys will leer.
        as for me? er?
        call me strange
        call me queer
cos it brings me no cheer
        the thought of
        lindsey's derriere
        the irony of the year
        is that this was
        sposta be ScarJo's rear
        what caused Jordan to veer
        into this goofy
        territory, here?

Nope. Johansson followed Ricci's lead and left the project while Farrell stayed and Lohan took the role.
