Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Brion James

    Aquagram — 21 years ago(January 23, 2005 03:39 PM)

I am surprised to find out Brion is dead!
He is great in Blade Runner of course. The confusion on his face while he is trying to figure out what he's being told in different scenes in that movie is very subtle and convincing.
I love him in Corvette Summer too, his great scene where Mark Hamill is hanging on to his car door and he starts to put up the window!
He was a great villain with a nice mischevious quality. The fun comes out even when he's being really slimey.
    R.I.P. Brion James.

Me too I just saw Blade Runner and clicked on his name and found out he was dead. He is in quite a bit of movies and I always thought he was a good actor. Too bad

I liked him in The Horror Show. Is it just me or am I not the only one who thinks the execution scene in that movie was hillarious?
I agree with everyone else, he was a great actor.
        RIP Brion

Yeahit's too bad he was typecast as a bad guy. I remember seeing a movie or two in which he was the good guy! Those films showed that Brion could play good as well as bad guys. He is missed by movie freaks everywhere!! R.I.P. Brion!!

Aye, I'm proper miffed that this guy is dead. It ain't right.
Is it just me or is Lethal Weapon number whitever a film he's in? I thought he did that whole 'punch, punch, get you down in the wet cement and turn on the pourer of yet more wet cement' thing, and the 'i can hide my eyes from the security cameras, but not the new ones in the interview room, that i don't know about, cos it wasn't there when i was a cop and I'll clip this informer with a big silenced gun' routine.
Was that someone else? Did IMDB miss this in his movie list? Did I spaz and miss this in the movie list.
Loved the armless hick in Southern Comfort turn. Of that I'm sure.

No, he wasn't in any of the Lethal Weapon films.

So who then did the whole "Wet cement on you, bury you deep" and "The cameras can't see me, I'm a clip artist" ponytail thing. Bloody sure it was BJ.

Stuart Wilson. He played Jack Travis, the renegade cop.
