Few different lawyers I've listened to say that Gawker will probably win the appeal at the very least the amount will be severely dropped

So, that's why Gawker just filed bankruptcy rather than listening to these legal giants you have listened to (where are they?)? If that were a real probability, the court would have granted Gawker a stay.
