I don't usually care that much about "celebrity" marriages, but it is always nice when you know one has been going for a while. And it does usually seem that, once a couple has passed a certain number of years, they've figured it out. So, I was kind of sad to read that she and Alan Rosenberg have split, at least for now.
I wonder if there is any tension because of all the SAG contention.

yeah i think the SAG thing was what finally broke the camel's back. Not knowing them personally I'm sure that there were other issues in their 19 year marriage (how could there not be), but I do recall Marg mentioning in an interview in an Australian magazine that Alan being the SAG president has taken a toll on their marriage.

that's exactly what first came to mind when I heard rumors at first.
I really think it was the whole SAG deal. I remember her mention once that some1354times he tends to take work home so she makes him sleep on the couch and stuff. It is sad, I always thought they'd last since they got past 15..ugh. I really think it's the whole stress with all the SAG stuff, especially when things got really complicated.
Bet the stress pushed them off the edge. Or her, I mean.
Is it me or did anyone else notice that she looked like she practically aged overnight after they got back on air from the strike?
I felt bad for Marg when I heard the split. -

I thought that too. She looked so different after the strike. You can see it season to season on CSI. I noticed in recent pictures, (Billy's Star ceremony and CSI's 200th episode party,) that she's still wearing her rings though. But I haven't heard anything new.

Billy's always had a crush on Marg
I think you're confusing CSI with real life. No, there is a difference.

I worked with Marg back in the mid-90s. Hubby came to town for a visit. I for one, was not impressed and couldn't figure out why they were together then let alone able to last years later Either way, and for whatever reason, I just hope she's happy.
