I think the same can be said about Shannen thenthe whole cast was fed up with her at the end of season 4, and they all went to Spelling to ask to do something about it. How can all the rumors about Shannen being difficult to work with be not true then? Same goes for her on "Charmed".
And in answer to your comments. First of all Jennie wasn't the only one who didn't get along with Vanessa Marcil. So it also can't be all Jennie's fault. Sometimes people don't get along, like we never come across a coworker we don't like so much. It's exactly the same.
And if you talk about Tiffani Thiessen, she herself told in the Final Goodbye episode, that she and Jennie didn't get along for just the first weeks, they became best friends afterwards, would they become that if Jennie was sooo terrible to her? Come on Tiffani even laughed about it, so it wasn't that serious. She said that after all the drama that had been on the set in the first 4 seasons, Jennie was afraid the same might happen again. I don't blame her if you read Tori's book, and some articles on the show where even producers say that Shannen completely turned against Jennie only because the writers and producers decided to give Jennie some bigger storylines too. And that she would be mean without no reason. So Shannen left, and another woman comes on the show, can you actually blame Jennie for being opposed to that idea? I don't, she was just a young girl too, if Shannen was allowed to be not so mature, why wasn't Jennie? I don't dislike either one of them, since i'm an adult too, and now that they are grown up women as well, they do get along, and they realise the past was just ridiculous. So why do people still bring this up is beyond me.
Also uhm, Jennie got along and still gets along (is even best friends) with Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Luke Perry and Ian Ziering. And she and Gabrielle Carteris seemed very good friends in the 2003 reunion as well. So you are so wrong if you really believe that she didn't get along with so many on the set. I think she is the only one who was and is really that close with most of them. You never see the other castmembers together somewhere anymore, Tori has lost contact with all of them except with Jennie.

well there was still a lot of drama going on AFTER Shannen left so you can't blame everything that went wrong behind the scenes on Shannenthere are a few stories out there how they treated tiffany, vanessa and emma caufield. tiffany and jenny finally became friends but it took a couple of seasons for that to happenemma caufield basically said she would rather get an enema than talk about that show bc her experience was horrible. vanessa marcil said the girls were catty and treated her like crap i think the "original girls" on that show were intimidated when the producers brought in new girls on the show.vanessa has also said that her experience was horrible and that is why she got out of her contract before it was up. jealousy is the key word here w/these ppl and garth wasn't exactly a nice person to the "new girls" who came on the show, she wa7ecs only nice to the guys who came on the show. i like jenny and i think she grew up a lot since then,she admitted herself as for as Shannen we were young and we were too hung up on stuff like "i wanted to wear that outfit, why does she get to"? and she also mentioned other childish crap they did to each other. charmedshannen left the show bc of alyssa "i must get all the attention" milano was the main problem bc shannen/holly are still bff's. rose mcgowan has said that behind the scenes of the show it was catty, and it mostly came from alyssa milano..shannen/alyssa have since made up and speak to each other often, alyssa tweeted shannen and wished her luck on DWTS. holly went to see shannen perform on DWTS a few times, and was there to comfort her when she was voted off..ever since shannen left charmed holly and she were always on good terms and bff's

I find this kind of post more than just a little amusing. As the first response points out, Jennie is still friends with ALL of the former cast members of 90210, and has made amends with Shannen Doherty, who has willingly admitted that she was the one who acted poorly on set, not the other cast members. I get that Shannen fans don't want to accept that as an answer, even when it comes from her very own mouth, but it's 100% true. Shannen was sick and tired of working on that show, she hated fame, and she made sure that everyone around herb68 was miserable as a result. As far as the Vanessa Marcil rumor, it gets tossed around a lot, but the only interviews I've read where she speaks about the show, she talks about how nice the girls were to her. No one has ever produced any evidence of her being mistreated. Someone just says she was and the people who hate Jennie take it and keep passing it along. Considering that Brian Austin Green was dating Marcil at the time and he and Jennie are still good friends, and always have been, that rumor holds no water. Even if it did, has anyone considered that, like Shannen before her, Vanessa was the one acting poorly? Of course notit HAD to be Jennie, right? That's why she's been married to one of the nicest guys in Hollywood for years and why she keeps getting work and why she's constantly praised for her kindness and why she's still friends with almost all of her coworkers over the years. Can she be a witch? Yeah, I'm sure she can; everyone in the world can. However, if that were her norm, she would have the Shannen Doherty-type reputation, not one of being a kind-hearted, sweet actress that people love to work with. No one gets along with everybody, so I'm sure she's butted heads with others over the years, but don't try to use that to turn her into something she isn't. And if rumors are what you base your truths on, then you will live a lonely, miserable life if you don't find a way to separate lies from reality.

Just for the sake of proving you wrong, go watch Vanessa Marcil's intimate portrait on YT (It's on there). Brian and Vanessa BOTH say in that interview that the way all the girls treated her was crap! Also on the BH90210 board someone recently posted an interview with Emma Caulfied where she says she liked Tori and Jason but the other's were horrible, she doesn't outright say it but she indicates it by saying they "weren't so awesome" and laughs in a sarcastic way and continues to pry about how bad all the girls were to her.
Also Kathleen Robertson said in an interview somewhere years ago when asked about her and Jennie's relationship, she just kind of giggled and went "errm " and shrug the question off completely. This is a late reply I know but I'm bored and just had to reply to this.

I don't know about how she treated the girls on the show but I had an encounter with her in the early 90s & she was totally nice. I sold cars at Santa Monica Ford & she came in with her douche bag ex-husband who was totally rude to a5b4ll of us & was extremely rude to Jennie as well. She was totally sweet to everyone she dealt with & I couldn't get over the fact at how beautiful she was in person & she wasn't even wearing make up. I was glad to hear that she'd dumped that cretin husband (although not too thrilled it was because she hooked up with her now current husband 'cuz she'd gotten pregnant). I dealt with a lot of rude people selling cars, most of whom were not stars & not only was Jennie a real star (esp. at that time with "BH 90210" really peaking) but she was also very nice to us "service people" & that says a lot for her character. Based on my experience, I'd have to say the rumors are false. Vanessa Marcil seems like a b*tch anyway.
Tori Spelling came into the dealership once & she was a total beyotch! She looked repulsive without makeup (her skin is atrocious!), she was a total snob & let her then bf, Nick Savalas, push her around like nobody's business. He was a dick to her but nice to us. He LOVED the full size Bronco & really wanted one but she bitched & whined about buying him a Range Rover. He called her stupid & said he wanted the Bronco but she refused to buy it for him & instead went to the Range Rover dealership. I was more than slightly amused to later read in the National Enquirer that she had indeed bought Nick the Range Rover & wound up wrecking & totali5b4ng it

Okay, this isn't true at all. First, it's easy to blame Shannen for all of the bad things that happened during 90210 and Charmed because of her reputation. But don't forget, it takes two people to fight. Shannen has NEVER said that she was the one who acted poorly on the set and everyone else were angels. She spoke for her own experience and said the reason they didn't like her or get her is because they had no idea what she was going through because she didn't tell any of them. Her dad was having serious health issues and nearly died several times. And the way she chose to deal with it was by being closed off and rebelling. She was 21 years old at the time. Of course Shannen and Jennie butted heads during filming 90210 but they BOTH admitted they were young and dumb and trying to one-up the other. Glad to see they worked through their issues and are now good friends.
But Shannen never said in any interview that she hated fame and made sure everyone around her was miserable because of it. I remember her saying that none of them knew how to handle the fame because they were all so young. I'm not trying to attack you but it irks me when someone states something as a fact that isn't true. Recently on an episode of The View, Sherri asked Shannen why she didn't consider herself to be a b#### during 90210 and she answered with, "I wasn't a b#### because I consider b###### to be malicious and I was never malicous."
You're also wrong when you say that Jennie is friends with all of her former 90210 co-stars. I also heard the story of Jennie and the other girls giving Tiffani a rough time when she first came to 90210 and then they became great friends. Cut to the current day and they're definitely no longer friends5b4. No idea or clue why and frankly don't really care because it's none of my business but Jennie and Tiffani don't talk anymore and apparently it's because they had some sort of fall out.
I've also read/watched interviews with Vanessa Marcil, Kathleen Robertson and Emma Caulfield where they stated they didn't have a good experience working on 90210, like others here have said. So clearly there were problems on the set long after Shannen left. -

I can believe it because the same things happen in the common workplace. Those girls had to have gotten some kind of ego being the stars on the set, and once an attractive newcomer joins the crew she gets attention from the guys and dirty looks from the women. It happens all the time.

Don't forget that Jessica Alba and Hilary Swank also said that Jennie was a major bitch to them.
The way I see it, she was nice to the guys because they weren't a threat to her and a bitch to the girls because of jealousy and insecurity. I definitely think she was just as bitchy if not bitchier than Shannen but Shannen got the blame for it because she was open and honest about it where I think Jennie on the other hand was the angel on the outside and the devil on the inside.
