Somehow, though a bit grating, his voice is very charismatic. I'd rather have a voice like his over the PA system at the airport, or at grocery stores. His voice is crisp and clear, unlike the shrieking banshess at Frys.
Okay, his voice is a kind of raspy, but easy to listen to for some people, not everybody. -

I love his voice. It is so unique to him. When I hear it, I just smile. I know I am going to be entertained, and I know it's him. How boring would life be if we all sounded alike, looked alike, and acted alike? arggghhhhh!

For the longest time I thought Harvey did the voice of Goanna (the monitor lizard) in Fern Gully. I just recently realized that it was Tone Loc. I have to say, I was dissapointed. Although I do'nt think they could have Robin, Harvey, and Tim Curry in the same movie ever.. because people's brains would explode. Robin and Harvey have done a lot of films together, though. I guess I just assumed.

It's an aquired taste, but as a singer it works really well, either with the song or whatever character he's playing. Some people cringe when they hear it. So what do they think about Louis Armstrong and Elaine Stritch?
'Normal' is a term invented by the majority as an excuse for making fun of the minority. -
