My late father was a big fan of Jack Elam's. Every time he saw JE in a film or TV show, he said that many years ago, JE had played a character called "stickface" or "stoneface," and my father always called JE by that name after that. Does ANYBODY remember anything about such a a character? I have looked on the imdb listings and can find no such character. If anybody can help, I'd be very grateful. I used to think that my dad was making it up, but he SWORE that JE had played such a character and said he could never have made up such an interesting nickname. LOL

Look closer. On a television show, "Target: The Corruptors", - A Man's Castle (1962) TV Episode . Stickface. This is in the filmography. Jack Elam is an icon. He was the BEST!!!!

Thanks, yes, after I posted, I did review the list of characters and noticed "Stickface." Brings back a lot of memoriesas I said, my dad called him that all the time, never knew his real name.
