"Support Your Local Sheriff" showed me that Elam could do more than glower at the camera. After that (and it's sequel), I became a true Jack Elam fan.
So much so, that I was crushed when they canceled "Struck by Lightening" without giving it a chance. I don't think I ever forgave TV for that

I'm forever a Jack Elam fan after I saw a bit on youtube starring him and a co-actor called Mickey Hays.
