So, part of Nicole's job is to maintain a certain body type? Sure. Partially. So that makes it okay to write hurtful stuff about her, a person that I suspect that you've never met, publicly? Why would you expend energy just to be mean to someone who's never done anything to you?

People are jackasses on IMDB, you have to live with it. They like posting how they only date 10's or how someone isn't up to their standard when in real life it's an outcry of how pathetic their real life is, so they escape it by putting down other people on here and pretending they have a life.

I agree. It would be a little forgivable if they were being snarky in a inventive or humorous way but that is rarely ever the case. Instead they are just plain mean. It's one thing to be a putz who spends an inordinate amount of time pointlessly posting on message boards (I obviously have nothing against that) instead of using that same time to find a life, it's quite another to be that same putz but with the added attractive quality of being cruel.

You don't actually know what people's lives are like based on what they type online though. It's you making presumptions because you don't like what they say. And when you hit back with insulting comments, like how people must have pathetic lives or that they are unattractive and miserable themselves, you are hardly being any different, even if you think you're doing it to defend some actresses "honor". Online, I've also noticed that many people who talk about how rude or insensitive someone else is are guilty of saying something that could be considered rude or insensitive themselves.
