Argo wins the Oscar for best picture of the year for 2012.
Fargo doesn't win the Oscar for best picture of the year for 1996.
How did this happen? Fargo is a better film than Argo.
DiCaprio doesn't act; he BECOMES!

Because the Academy voters LOVED The English Patient. It won 9 Oscars that year.

Well i didn't love Argo. But yeah, i would watch that over again before i watch Fargo again. Watching that movie make you wish you were the one in the wood chipper.

There are 2 other movies with word Fargo in their title, namely :-
Fargo Express 1933 http://www.imdb.com/board/10022880/
The Fargo Kid 1940 http://www.imdb.com/board/10033587/
and none of them won an Oscar. So i guess it has something to do with the word Fargo being cursed.
