Ok, why? what was so bad? Explain it to me.

I am not insensitive, but the opposite. That is why I am asking.
Because his parents got divorced. So do 50% kids suffer from divorceand additional abuse. Because he have to endure his parents getting divorced is not a reason ,nor should his parents feel guilt.
He couldn't stand success? Ok, would he be happier without the success? What was the problem? Sexuality issues, so I hear? If sexuality issues is all some people had to deal with, they would be relieved.
I really want to know so I can justify not putting a gun to my head then. Let's all put a gun to our head, then. We have mental hospitals for depressed people too. What, he was too good to go?
Does he even KNOW WHY he killed himself, or was it the groovy thing to do?
Again, explain it to me. So, I, as a sensitive person, can understand and then mourn. I am capable of understanding.
Oh, and who cares about the pain his parents, wife and baby had to cope with, But, that must be secondary, since he was some sort of "star. I noticed today that speaking garbled words while looking unbathed with dirty clothes, is somehow "art".
INstead of the sensitive-soul he is touted to be, maybe he was just as air-head. -

I wouldn't waste your time and energy SMS. Cobain wanted to express himself, 'creatively' and 'artistically'; but likely didn't want fans to obsess over his grungy music and make him a 'famous'. I guess he sold his soul; but couldn't cope with the price, when he became spoiled.

More simply, are you saying that he felt guilty for his success knowing he had no talent?
Cobain attained success and then likely didn't really want it or know how to deal with it. If he wanted to express himself creatively, he has to have followers listen to his grunge, in order for him to gain success. Did he just want his music to be heard, yet not pay the price that comes with popularity and exposure? Which way did he want it?
Was he aware he was talentless, I don't really know, fans would beg to differ; but they are likely just as deluded as Cobain was, so can't be relied upon. -

I take it you didn't read his bio? They said he had way to much heroin in his system to operate a gun.
I used to abuse sleeping pills and at my worst I was doing 30 pills a day. I didn't start out taking that many, I worked up to that because I built a tolerance to their effects.
When I told doctors how much I'd been taking, they called me a liar and said I would have been dead. Well, I know exactly how much I was taking and the kicker was I met people in rehab who took even more than that.
Point is, what doctors agree on as being a lethal dose of a drug are not rock solid facts when tolerance comes into play. -

"Was he aware he was talentless,"
I was going to offer a proper reply till I read that part.
He wasn't a virtuso musician but he was soulful, genuine, melodic and wrote great hooks and lyrics. He was able to convey all of this live on stage in front of thousands of people and on recordswhich sold millions. Talentless? -

I would still be interested in hearing what you have to say, before I jump to conclusions and give an elaboration. My response, was in relation to another posters question, about Cobain being aware that he had 'no talent'.

LolI'm sorry. No offence but it would be pointless for me to further address your queries because I'm a fan of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain and therefore, I must be as deluded as him. In my honest opinion, a good song is a good song and I just happen to think Kurt wrote a number of them. But thats subjective I guess.
However, Kurt Cobain's songs and career are not new revelations at all. There are a couple of decades worth of information detailing both (good and bad) that could help your quest for perspective. Again, no offence meant. -

'I must be as deluded as him.'
Of course. No offense.
'but it would be pointless for me to further address your queries'
Yes, your addressed queries are pointless.
Let's see, "queries", the fancy online word for 'questions/inquiries', right? As in, "I have a query, where is the restroom?"
Why, did you want people to ask you queries? Do you feel a need to answer them? Is that an innate need? Do you feel dejected and demoralized when people don't ask you said queries? -

Yes, I must be wrong; I have no judge for talent for people who stand there looking like dirtballs with fake-intense expressions on their face, while they either screech and/or TALK "songs" out like glorifield poetry, as fans think it's so arty and profound.
Gee, I think I'll try that myself and see the crowd roll in their seats. Let's not forget the instrument-smashing; that too much skill5b4. I know, it must have been the "way" he smashed said instruments.
Lyrics, lyrics, lyrics.(remember that when Suzanne Somers writes touching 'lyrics' in her books of poetry) Let's not stop there, let's assign that pop-word word "genius" too. And when he took a hit of weed or booze, that must have really impacted the fans to think he was riveting. Did he even have a vibrato, or is that not necessary for singers in our too-hip-for-words- audience?
And the grunge label.
Translation: wear raggy clothes and oily hair and torn jeans. We "accomplished" that 20 yars earlier. -

And don't forget SMS, that this was the "artist", that
was able to convey all of this live on stage in front of thousands of people and on recordswhich sold millions.
It is the people that know what true musical talent, melody and art isthey are the gauge of 'genuine', quality and talent'these same deluded people, that got together in their own garages every weekend. Dressed in their grungy clothes, with grungy hair, making grungy sounds and dreaming of their big breakthrough; attempting to find their own soul that they had lost, just like Cobain. Not to mention the copious amounts of alcohol and\or drugs that were consumed, just like their idol that made them so cool too. -

Your post sounds like it is directed at the OP; but here's my 10cents worth:
I don't totally disagree with what you're saying but you sound like such a douchebag saying it, it's hard to agree with you.
Because there is really not much to disagree with. It's not surprising that Cobain's music appealed to other douchbags and their skanks.
I think Kurt Cobain's self loathing and anger came from the same psychological state that's responsible for creating the anger in you over someone you never met and a form of entertainment, like all entertainment, which is purely subjective.
The fact that there are different forms of 'entertainment' and that it is 'subjective', speaks a thousands words about where most people are coming from and more importantly, their lack of tasteespecially with music.
His mental state was just way more severe and he probably found it harder to bottle up than you do.
A drug and alcohol infused mind, affected his mental state. I would say that was self-inflicted. No wonder he couldn't bottle it up. Price he paid, for wanting fun good times, for the sake of his "art". He couldn't deal with his pain and suffering, so he makes painful music instead as a form of release. Very generous, that he wanted to share it.
Your fascist, 'I don't agree with this so other people shouldn't' perspective is much weaker and socially redundant than any idea Kurt Cobain ever had.
Cobain wasn't universally inspirational or much of a positive role model to begin with, so any ideas or perceptions one might have of him, could hardly be deemed as fascist. Like you admitted in your post, there is not much to disagree with. So what is your real point?
Does that mean the people in your life who admire you are stupid and don't know what they're talking about? I don't think that. It's just the way they feel based on certain qualities they admire about you, although I guarantee you have a few that would make some people want to knock your teeth out.
Interesting that you comment on fascist qualities in the OP's post and opinions, yet you have resorted to violent allusions and assumptions about what others might want to do or even yourself. It's obvious, that you are a conflicted and hypocritical human being.
You can lash back but I'm just being constructive on a topic you started.
You can lash back but I'm just being constructive about your poor taste in music.
