Perhaps if she had picked her projects better. She only made 3 more theatrical films after "My Girl" which were "My Girl 2", "Trading Mom", and "Gold Diggers". It looks like she lost interest in acting once she reached her teens and then decided to get back into it as an adult on her own terms.

Her performance was not like child i mean she acted like julia roberts she was amazing i don't think there are any actress like her or Dakota Fanning at that age with that much realit238y .
