Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Frank Capra

    jungreis — 15 years ago(April 19, 2010 10:26 AM)

I have reported this omission to IMDb but the correction has not yet been made. Capra made this propaganda piece to protest a water rights lawsuit filed by the US on b5b4ehalf of Camp Pendleton in 1951. Capra is uncredited in itprobably because of his conflict of interest as a member of the local water authority in Fallbrookbut Capra made the film. Cecil B. DeMille introduces the film. Perhaps one day it will show up on the above filmography. Until then I wanted to make sure it is not forgotten. The original film is at the Historical Society in Fallbrook, CA. It is legendary Hollywood that should not be forgotten.
