I thought he was really funny in this, and wondered if Howard Hawks always had him in mind for the role of "Pockets".

this was a performance due an academy award.he played a very funny "lennY" type of character, from "of mice and men".but it was comical, the rockets, the way he was afraid of the animalsdid you know, the scene where he trips over the lion's tail with the tray of food was a blooper.!!! but he, and the duke, and the girl stayed so true to their characters, and it was so funny, hawkes decided to leave it in!!!! truly a great actor..he and his kind will be missed

He was one of my fav actors in that movie. It has become one of my fav movies because of that. He will be missed very much. I am just happy that we got to see him and recognize his abilities of acting . I for one will always remember him as pocketts.

The cat was a cheetah!Get your cats straight! He was a very good dancer however. Too bad they didn't get more long shots of his footwork. Those blue eyes during the dance scene with Brandy!!!!!!!
