The farthest of the right is paranoid of everyone and everything, and insult you for not voting with your wallet.
Liberals, on the other hand, don't care about politics of stars and films/tv shows. As long as the stuff is good, they'll watch it.
Finally, is it just me, or do the extremely far-right hate all comediennes, and only prefer comedians? -

Oh gosh, that's a pretty big blanket statement! Have you read some of the posts at the Mary Tyler Moore site? Some liberals hate her or say that she's a conservative now because of dementia.
I never care about a celebrity's politics unless he or she are "in your face" about it and act as though they have superior smarts because they are in show biz.
I'm a conservative and if I had to limit my TV and movie watching to Republican actors, I wouldn't have much to watch. LOL
It's only the celebs who come right out and insult me that I stop watching or listening to, Julia Roberts and Barbra Streisand, for example.
But I've always admired and respected Miss Burnett. I read her most r5b4ecent book and she is a classy and gracious lady. -

Truly heartbreaking. I have loved Carol all my life and to discover she is Democraticouch.But so were my parentsmaybe they don't know any better that liberals are really socialists now daysI still love Carol but it breaks my heart.

I'm a democrat and it don't derseve a ouch sorry not trying to be mean but really??? Jeez a person shouldn't be judge on their beliefs I like many celebrity who are republicans and I never get on them for that even if I don't agree with it..

Personally, I believe the only person who should lose their job due to the political party is a politician. If someone is a great actor and has made a great movie, I'd be the loser by not watching it. Does anyone really believe Streisand cares if someone chooses not to watch one of her movies? Frankly, she doesn't need Conservatives - she has plenty of money if she never earned another penny from films/albums.
I watched Eastwood movies even though he's a Conservative. People involved in movies, etc. are creating art and we're the losers if we say, "No way will I watch this" simply due to the artist's politics.
