I have to sayI've always been a big fan of Beau Bridges.
I loved his poignant portrayal of Eli tonight on Desperate Housewives.
I had a lump in my throat and tears throughoutloved it!

Couldn't agree more. It was one of the best episodes of DH. Very touchy.
Excellent performance.

Definately worth an Emmy in my book. It would have been great if Eli had been a regular character on the show.

I second that it was one of the best guest appearances on tv. He does deserve or rather should have the EMMY I also love the scene with EVA longorias Gabrielle who pleads her case to the other housewives about her loneliness and BREE nails it with "Now thats how you make an entrance" KUDOS to the writers, the UNSUNG heroes and heroines of T.V.

I loved that episode, it was so well done. I had tears in my eyes. He played such a great character.

Yes, he wwas great. But the episode itself was terribly cheesy and not anything like as funny as typical episodes.

Probably one of my favourite episodes of DH.

Beau Bridges is a guy you can count on to spice up any script. Great episode!
