I hope this is a joke Like, seriously
First, she and her husband were the artistic directors of Sydney Theater Company for what, 7 years? She has been rather outspoken about Australia and its talent and if I remember correctly, she dedicated good share of her second Oscar speech to Australia.
Second, she is a movie star. Yes, TV is more prominent these days and more stars are migrating to TV screens but there is still wide gap between big and small screens. It is normal that the actress of her caliber doesn't work on TV.
Lastly, she does work with Australians. She worked with Richard Roxborough, Hugo Weaving, she is shooting "Thor" partly in Australia.
So, you can argue many things but that she doesn't care for Australia is quite the stretch. -

I have to echo a previous poster in this thread, this must surely be a joke. You're seriously trying to say that the woman who co-ran the Sydney Theatre Company for
six years
and during that time directed and starred in countless stage productions in Sydney doesn't work in Australian theatre?? Theatre is Cate's first love and Australia is her home country, she has been starring in Australian theatre productions for well over 20 years. Please do your research in the future before making such unfounded claims.
Also, Little Fish, The Turning, Oscar and Lucinda, Thank God He Met Lizzie and Paradise Road are all Australian films that Cate has starred in. Not to mention that Truth and Thor: Ragnarok may be American films but they were both filmed entirely in Australia using completely Australian crews.
So she hasn't starred in any Australian TV since she was a young unknown actress, who cares? She's not obliged to just because she's Australian, that's just silly. She does plenty for the Australian film and theatre scene, she was even awarded the Centenary Medal by the Australian government for her contribution to Australian culture. -

If u too lazy to understand what I meant don't tired yourself and reply, I said she cares more about Hollywood, most of her work there now and her work on TV is little if we compare it

Again, if you actually bothered to do some basic research you'd see that Cate on balance has made more independent movies than Hollywood movies since the start of her career. So you're still wrong.

If you can't cope with being told you're wrong should either a) bother to do some research before you post, or b) stop posting such stupid threads in the first place.

See ya, don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.
