It's fascinating watching all of these "What's My Line" segments showing the great stars of the past. The sad thing is that nearly all of them are gone now. I remember watching the shows as a child and then a teengaer in the mid 50s into the 60s, but I seem to recall the panelists more than the stars now. I remember being annoyed by Bennett Cerf and Dorothy Kilgallen, but now I like them. As for the stars, I can vaguely remember a series that Ralph Bellamy was in in the 1950s. I just wish we had all of the "What's My Line" shows, especially those of some of my favorite baseball players and movie stars. And I guess there were some stars that chose not to appear on the show. For example, I don't recall (from those available today) seeing Burt Lancaster or Clark Gable.
Those stars that particularly stand out as I watch the show now are James Cagney and Sophia Loren.
