Back in 1971, I saw Anne on Broadway in the musical version of All About Eve called Applause. She was great!!! Her singing and dancing were fantastic!
It was a role reversal for her because she played Margo Channing and another actress played the backstabbing Eve!

She would have won her second Oscar for All About Eve if her studio would have put her in the Best Supporting actress category. Then Anne as well as Bette Davis would have won oscars. Instead they cancelled each other out.

To quote Margo Channing: "Eve Evil! Little Miss Evil!"
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
