I grew up on Trek, and like all Trekies The original series is the heart and soul of any true Trek.(This new crud don't count)The 1960's Kirk is still the base of the captains, but I admit of all the captains Archer has become my favorite, Scott Bakula made him real, I have often thought a good spin off would be based on the mirror mirror epi, but I like mirror darkly better. They didn't finish that as far as my house was concerned, what became of empress Sato? Linda Park is a beauty and pulled off both Sato's well. In any case Scott Bakula was the Captain of Captains. Somewhere between Kirk an Picard with a dash of Pike. I don't know why they pulled the show all the cast were perfect, the ship awesome, it (NX class) and the Constitution class are the sweetest of all. I hoped we'd see more of Scott Bakula's Archer and the rest of the crew. Grams always said "only good things come to a swift end." Well I guess Scott Bakula's Capt lasted as long as William Shatners, its about the same number of seasons. Long live the Captains of the Enterprise .
