        I would say Chris Farley, who was probably born to play this role, but thats not gonna happen.

          I heard before he died he was trying to get a movie made with him playing the role, it was going to be his first attempt at drama. Too bad he died.

            I'd be interested in seeing a biographical film on Arbuckle. Chris Farley certainly could have portrayed Arbuckle but I would like to have seen John Candy in the role. Since both Farley and Candy are gone, Frank Caliendo is a possibility: the question would be whether he has the acting chops to pull off the dramatic portions of Arbuckle's life.

              I doubt it, I don't find Frank Caliendo funny whatsoever. I don't think he has any talent at all.

                      And before you say no, have a look at him in Leatherheads - he even wears his hair like Arbuckle and his facial expressions. it was almost as if he were channeling Arbuckle for his role in Leatherheads (appropriate since the film is set in 1925)
