Bryan Singer is filming Valkyrie and Stamp is in it. I bet my Bears tickets they've discussed him returning as Zod in "Superman: The Man of Steel" next year. His age won't be an issue since they can makeup or CGI his face a bit if need be. Although Zod was supposed to be aged 30-40 when Superman was a baby on Krypton so it wouldn't be that far-fetched to have an older Zod. Especially since he lost his powers at the end of Superman II. What you say?
By the way, Singer has said he wanted Zod to be in Superman Returns but they couldn't convince Jude Law to play the role, and that was the only actor Singer wanted in the role back then, so they took Zod out of the story. -

Despite me liking the idea, I would less be honest if that was the choice to be done. I mean it's been so long already, and no particular time would have been perfect, but I think it's time to go with another villain. Plus, Stamp is already portraying Jor-El in Smallville.
OBVIOUSLY -

I don't care, i want Terrence Stamp to portray Zod in the new Superman film. It would be so awesome.
But for the fans, he has to say:
SON OF JOR-EL, KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!
in that thundering and commanding voice.
and
WHY DO YOU SAY THESE THINGS TO ME WHEN YOU KNOW I WILL KILL YOU FOR IT? -

LOL, that's too funny! How about this gem from Superman, The Movie:
YOU WILL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME, JOR-EL, I SWEAR IT. EVEN IF IT TAKES AN ETERNITY!!
YOU WILL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME!!!!! BOTH YOU, AND ONE DAY, YOUR HEIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

If it weren't for subtitles, I would have thought it was a$$ forever. I remember when ABC first aired it, and I was shocked, I said, that man said a bad word. Of course I didn't find out it was heirs till maybe early 2000.

Nobody can play Zod better than the original man himself, Terence Stamp. A lot depends on what continuity the producers follow, in terms of bringing back Zod, Ursa, and Non(i.e. the original cinematic version of Superman II or Richard Donner's cut of the sequel).
Personally, I would go for the Richard Donner cut, myself. -

All these years I thought I was was the only one who thought he said "Your ass!"
I used to ask my parents why he would say that Marlon Brando's ass would bow down before him and how that would work exactly.
