Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Terence Stamp

Never seen a guy who is more murky. He is always grimacing and looking psychotic. I found out a few years ago that he was in many films long before Beverly Hills Cop. He was playing in British films during the 60s. Haven't seen any of them. I would like to.

I think it was Forty Eight Hours 2, then. My mistake.

I did see him in Yes, Man. It was a bad movie, but Stamp was one of the few good things about the film.

You should really see his 1960s work. He played so many wildly different kinds of parts, from saintly to psychotic.

I think you've confused him with Steven Berkoff, who's also tall, older and gray-haired, but not quite as attractive.

I agree the op is thinking of Berkoff. But Berkoff is actuall2000y only a year older than Stamp, The main difference between them is Berkoff can actually act

You should really see him in "Spirits of the Dead" part 3 "Tony Dammit". I think you can find it on Youtube. It's weird but visually stunning and he was fantastic!

I've been a fan of Stamp for years, and have seen every film I could find and that means just about all of them. He's fantastic, especially in his earlier films around the Limey era. . . .. oh, what the heck. . .they are ALL great!!!

Haha, I remember finding a pile of videos, in the attic, when I was a kid. One of them was Far From the Madding Crowd. I put it on to watch.and I dont think I had ever seen a more beautiful man, in my life!
                        And he could act too!
