Anyone else think so?

Yes he would. Agreed. The only problem for me now though, is that Spader has done such a phenomenal job as Raymond Reddington, I could not see him as anyone else. Same thing happened with Keifer Sutherland. He will always be Jack Bauer to me no matter what role he takes on in the future. And Spader will always be identified in my mind as Reddington. He literally is Raymond. Funny too, because I'm pretty familiar with all of his roles both on screen and tv, but this is the one that he seems to have morphed into. He played Alan Shore for years, but I never called Spader Alan. But now anytime I see his picture somewhere I just automatically call him Raymond. Go figure.

My favorite character he played was Alan Shore, and I love him as Red, but I still won't have any trouble seeing him as someone else. As far as photos go I always call him his character name from any role he has done. If it's not from a show than I call him James.

If they took Joker and made him into an anti-hero Well, let's not kid, The Joker IS that So, yes.
I adore him as Red, Alan Shore and many other roles but I like him most when there's heart underneath the brutality.
