Since a William Shatner mask was used for the mask of Michael Myers in the Halloween films, would Shatner be considered the REAL Michael Myers?

Now the real question is put forward!
Did a star of The Twilight Zone, a show which dealt with insanity, ghostly puppets and cursed objects somehow pass on his eternal damnation to a mask which haunts innocent teenagers (And one older lady who was once an innocent teenager)for all of eternity?
That my friends, is a question worth exploring
