Probably best you watch one of the many documentaries or just Google it. Would take a while to explain properly.

He did a short stay in NYC when the panthers got dismantled his mom moved them to baltimore and then to the west coast where he came up and his career started on the west coast .Back then in terms of hip hops existance it was only the east coast that was on the map.West coast hadn't made it onto the scene it was a new thing in at the beginning of the 90's .So technically every artist that came out was "From New York" .Until West coast made the scene with N.W.A now artists from the west coast could put up their flag .Pac was a west coast artist at the time who was from nyc. His first album if you listen too the first couple albums he had a more west coast style at the time .The one album i would say that is more east coast style of his was me against the world album .When that album came out he was considered a bi-coastal talent at that point .All the albums leading up too MGTW were more g funk west coast style .
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
