When Seinlanguage came out in the early 90s, it literally was just a transcript of his stand-up material, right? Was there anything literary about this book at all?
Was this just like reading a comedian's stand-up material?
I remember other comedian books coming out at the time like Ellen and Tim Allen, but there was actual material in those books, not simply a verbatim transfer into another medium.
If all Seinlanguage consisted of was stand-up in print form, then that's a pretty crass move, no? Those hard cover editions are never cheap either. What a waste of money and deceptive ploy on Seinfeld's part.
